Add a manual order

Record an order on behalf of a customer by adding a manual order.
- Go to Orders > Packing
- Click the 3 dots in the top right > Manually add order
Here's all you need to know about how manual orders work.
Manual orders
- require you to input your customer's phone number
- allow you to record fulfillment type (pickup / delivery), location, pickup day and time, and items ordered
- appear on your Prep and Packing tabs
- must be paid outside of Hotplate
Manual orders do not
- trigger automated texts reminders
- pull from your event's inventory
- you'll need to reflect inventory changes by going into your event and decrementing the inventory of any item(s) on a manual order
- get paid via Hotplate
- because of this, the prices of items are showed as $0 on manual order tickets
