Customer portal

You may want to change the web address (URL) of your Hotplate store after you initially set it up. You can do that easily by changing your username, which is the bit that goes after 

Enter the new username (we’ll check if its available)

After updating your username, we will save your old username and forward all traffic from it to your new one for 30 days. Your customers will experience no interruptions.

After 30 days, your old username will be released and available for others to use. This also means the QR code linked to your old username will no longer work.

You can change your username once every 7 days.

How to change your store URL 

Many chefs have business partners or employees that need to access the Hotplate portal, so we make it easy to give team members access using their phone number.

Keep in mind: Any teammates you add will be able to log in to your portal, but only the account admin will receive texts whenever you make a sale.

Enter your team member’s name and phone number

Select your team member’s permissions (what can they access and edit?)

By default, the account admin (owner) is the phone number that first created the Hotplate account.  If you need to change the admin phone number, please contact our team  at
