Customers can’t make changes to their order after checking out, but you can. Read on for how to add a note, add or remove items, or edit the fulfillment details.
How to edit an order
Click on an order ticket
At the top, click Edit
There are 3 ways to edit an order
Add a note - notes are only visible to you, your customer is not notified if you leave a note. Notes are included when you print or export tickets.
Modify items - add or remove items from the ticket. Your customer won’t be charged for the difference, so you will need to settle payment outside of Hotplate.
Edit details - edit fulfillment type, location, date, or time.
Note: adding / removing items on an order associated with a drop will update the drop’s inventory accordingly. You’ll be notified if you are adding an item that has already sold out. Similarly, if you edit the pickup window, you’ll be notified if you choose a pickup time that is already booked.
