You can view your list of customers anytime in the Customers tab of your Hotplate portal.
Anyone who has ever ordered from you will be in this list, and those subscribed to your SMS notifications will have a green checkmark under Subscribed. If a customer is only subscribed to your SMS list and hasn’t placed an order yet, then you won’t see any other customer details besides their phone number.
How do I add subscribers?
You can't subscribe someone to your storefront yourself, but you can invite them to subscribe by sending them your SMS signup link.
Go to Settings
Click the link button at the top
Copy your SMS signup link
Customers can also subscribe by clicking Never miss a drop on your storefront.
If you’re migrating over to Hotplate from another system and wan’t to import your customer list, please reach out to support ([email protected]) and we can help.
Send us a spreadsheet with phone number (required) and email address (optional).
How do I unsubscribe a customer?
Your customers can always unsubscribe from your notifications by replying to a Hotplate text with "UNSUB [your storefront name]"
Every text that Hotplate sends includes this instruction.
You can also manually unsubscribe a customer:
Go to your Customers tab
Search for the customer
Click the 3 dots
Manage subscriptions
Click Unsubscribe
Can I fully delete a customer from my list?
Once someone is on your list, you can't fully delete them. The best thing to do is to unsubscribe them so they stop receiving notifications.
