Your friend signs up
You'll be paid monthly for 1 year after their first sale
How much do I get paid for referring someone?
You'll earn 20% of the Hotplate fees from your referral's sales for an entire year. You'll be paid out monthly.
Where do I find my unique referral link?
Go to Settings > Refer a chef > Copy referral link
Where do I see the people I've referred?
Go to Settings > Refer a chef > Your referrals
My friend signed up but I don't see their name on my referral list!
They may not have used your unique referral link when they signed up! You or your referral can text us at 888-243-3468 or email [email protected] with a note like this:
My storefront is hotplate.com/___ and I was referred by hotplate.com/___. Can you make sure they get referral credit?
How does the new referral program compare to the old program?
In May 2026, we upgraded our referral program to offer bigger rewards.
Before: Referrers earned 100% of Hotplate fees from a referred chef’s first month of sales.
Now: Referrers earn 20% of Hotplate fees from the referred chef’s first year of sales, paid out monthly.
