How to refund customers

Looking to cancel a customer’s order? You’ll just want to issue a refund then close their order ticket.

You can issue a partial or full refund to customers straight from your Hotplate portal in just a few clicks. Here’s how:

  1. Locate the order ticket in the Orders tab
  2. Click the 3 dots in the bottom left
  3. Click Receipt and Refund
  4. Choose to refund a dollar amount or specific items
  5. Decide if you would like to restock items once refunded, and if you’d like to remove the order from your prep and pack tab.
