π Tips on setting up to sell out
ποΈ Ordering window
Have your orders open a few days after you publish your drop, to give yourself time to get subscribers.
For example: if you publish your event on Wednesday, you can set orders to open Sunday, and use the time in between to announce your drop and invite your followers and friends to subscribe.
Ordering windows vary and you should do what works best for your production schedule. Many sellers open orders at the beginning or middle of the week for end of week / weekend pickups.
π½οΈ Menu
The most successful droppers make the ordering experience as easy for their customers as possible.
Keep it simple. Consider launching with 1-5 menu items, with minimal to no modifications.
While you might think a wide variety will help you serve more customers - it can actually add friction to the ordering process, causing decision fatigue and abandoned carts.

π Inventory
Start small and sell out!
It may sound counterintuitive, but we recommend that you set low inventory for your first drop, even if youβre able to produce more. Limited quantities drive urgency and interest, and signals that your goods are special and in high-demand.
If you get a waitlist for an item, you can always add inventory! Those customers will automatically be notified that more is available.
